Dr. Cecil F. Bennett Jr. completed his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, earning a degree in Biology. He went on to attend Morehouse School of Medicine, where he obtained his medical degree. After medical school, Dr. Bennett completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Morehouse, where he also served as Chief Resident.
He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and maintains his certification to this day. Dr. Bennett has served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. He was appointed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to the Georgia Board of Healthcare Workforce, which works to identify healthcare providers who can serve in underserved and rural areas of the state.
Dr. Bennett has twice been honored as the "Doctor of the Day" for the Georgia State Legislature at the Capitol.
Lauren Schwartz is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in patient care. Originally from South Carolina, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wofford College before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kennesaw State University.
With nearly a decade of experience in maternal and newborn nursing, Lauren returned to Kennesaw State University to complete her Master of Science in Nursing. She brings compassion and expertise to her role, providing comprehensive care to individuals and families.
Kristy Shelnutt, a Georgia native, has spent the last 10 years in the medical field, excelling in roles that highlight her problem-solving abilities and strong work ethic. She has three children and one grandchild, who she enjoys spending her free time with. Most recently, Kristy was promoted to Office Administrator at Newnan Family Medicine. She is dedicated to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care for every patient.
Originally from Florida, Ronnie Witchard holds a degree in medical billing and coding, as well as office management, from Florida Career College. With 14 years of experience in Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management, Ronnie takes pride in contributing to the growth of the practice.
